A Bondage Situation

“I’m going to put this on you,” my SO says from behind me.

I don’t know what ‘this’ is, because he’s behind me so I can’t see what he’s doing, and I can’t turn around because my wrists are tied by straps hooked to eyebolts in the ceiling, but I find out what ‘this’ is soon enough when something falls over my eyes.

“Ow,” I squeal when he pulls my hair.

“Sorry,” he says. “Your hair’s caught in the tie.”

Things you need: drill, ladder, eyebolts

‘This’ is a tie, and he’s putting it over my eyes as a blindfold. A blindfold isn’t part of the original scenario. My wrists tied by straps is the original scenario. I just want to experience what it feels like to be bound. I’m doing this for one of my sexy stories, for authenticity, but plans change quickly when you’re tied up.

This isn’t one of my stories. This is real life, and real life is all about eyebolts and drills, bodysuits and bodies, tie-down straps and trust. That is to say, it’s all about bondage.

With my eyes covered by the tie, my body feels electric. The slightest touch makes me tremble. This is what it means to ‘sing the body electric’.

Is this why people enjoy bondage?

Things you must have: some kind of straps; Lingerie is optional, but I found it preferable.

I’ve always believed that bondage was something dark, even violent. I believed it wasn’t ‘normal’, even though I know there’s no such thing as ‘normal’, but believing is different than knowing. Knowing comes from having my wrists bound, my eyes covered, and from touches touching me where I’m not expecting. This isn’t about violence, not even when my ass is smacked. It’s about trust. It’s about letting go. It’s about giving away control to someone else.

Ok, I know what I’m doing is bobo Fifty Shades of Bondage. I know it’s not hardcore BDSM. I don’t even have a safe word. If I don’t like something, I’m just going to say ‘stop it’ like any other time. So this is just play bondage, but it feels real to me and it feels really good.

Is it what I thought it would be when I bought the eyebolts and charged the drill?

Nope!

When I started writing about a woman bound by her wrists and ankles in a doorway while a man has her for his pleasure, all I thought was: Wow, that sounds so sexy! But what did I know?

“How does that feel?” he asks.

And don’t forget the heels!

His hands are on my skin and FEEL is exactly the right word, because that’s what I do. I FEEL. I can’t see and I can’t move, all I can do is feel, and the feelings explode inside me.

When I screwed in the eyebolts into the ceiling, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to take some sexy photos. When the straps wrapped around my wrists, I thought I might get a little insight into what my character went through. When the blindfold went over my eyes, I saw how the scene in the story should change. And when I was touched, I understood why people might like submission.

And when all the touching was finished and my hands were free to type my story, I knew a little more about bondage than I did before, and I think I managed to write a more realistic scene for my story, An Affair. Go and read it and then come back and tell me what you think.

Did my bondage experience help the story?

Did my story make you want to get tied up and let go?

See you,

Misty
