October is here, which means it’s time for that scary story of the year. BOO!! “THE GIRL WHO CRIED WOLF” is out and ready to scare you! Oh, no!! Are you ready to be scared?

Um…if you are, then you should know that this isn’t scary. The girl in the story is not one bit scared. In fact, I think she ruined my Halloween scare for this year. But that’s how stories work sometimes. They’re unpredictable, have plans of their own.

The idea for this story was loosely, and I mean very loosely, based on someone’s suggestion to write about the Wolf Man. Actually, the Wolf Man, in the classic sense, sounds very erotic, once you get past his scary, dangerous aspects. But for whatever reason I was in a really goofy mood when I started thinking of the Wolf Man in a highly sexually charged situation, so the story turned out differently than what you would expect a story based on the Wolf Man to turn out. I have to admit that when I was reading it out loud to my husband I was rolling on the floor with laughter, and so was he. So this year’s Halloween story is a basketful of laughter and a busload of sexy.

  Here’s the blurb:

Larry is the quintessential nice guy, which would be fine, but he happens to have the hots for beautiful Bela, and she has a thing for bad boys.
But on Halloween night luck strikes for Larry, and he gets bitten. His transformation into a bad boy is certain to follow.

He turned just as the moon slipped from behind the clouds, the pale light reflecting off his slobbering fangs.
“Larry,” Bela gasped.
He made an inhuman sound and took a step toward her. He had become a monster. Bela turned to run but she tripped on her high heels and fell to her hands and knees. On all fours, she looked back at him. He loomed over her, his long claws reaching for her.
“Are you going to eat me?” she whispered.
He growled.
“If you are,” she gasped, her plump lips parting, “start with my ass.”

Warning: “The Girl Who Cried Wolf” is intended for a mature audience that understands that ‘eating’ isn’t always about having a meal. If that’s you, then bon appétit.
